CFHS Band Fam:
First, I want to wish you all a restful break next week. Parents, you should hear lots of practicing from your students as they prepare on their own for our concert which is rapidly approaching. Second, if you are planning on traveling with the music department on our Performance Tour to New Orleans, please double check that your name is on the attached list. If you think are going on the trip, and your name isn't on the list, please get in touch with Ren right away. In the next few days I will be going through the money turned in with today's 2nd Payment and your students will be receiving an updated statement in their email. Finally, remember that the fruit order forms are due on the MONDAY we return from break. Hit your family up for some fruit around the Thanksgiving table. Let me know if you have any questions! MR Hello Music Families,
We have some delightful Winter Concerts to look forward to this season--and even a little snow to get you in the mood! Please consider helping out by ushering one of the concerts. Ushers primarily have to stuff and hand out programs, and then keep an eye on the door to make sure that people only enter and exit between songs. One usher will actually be posted in the hallway, to monitor the doors from there, but the other 4 will be able to watch the concerts. Follow the sign up link below. As always, thank you so much for all that you do to help our amazing music programs, bringing out the best in all of our kids. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60b054bada62aa5fe3-winter Sherry Friedel Vice President, CFMA For starters, I thought it would be nice to share out some great recordings of different instrumental ensembles.
