If you have seen the new black/grey jackets that the Marching Cardinals staff were wearing at the football game last Friday, now is your chance to get one of your own!
The Port Authority Contrast Hooded Soft Shell Jacket comes in Black/Battleship Grey with a stylish embroidered "Chippewa Falls Marching Cardinals" on the front. The jacket comes in a Men's and Women's cut.
Jackets are $50, and checks can be written out to "CFHS" or "CFHS Band".
You can either print the order form and turn it in next week, or pick up a paper copy on the band office door. Mr. Renneke has a few sizes in the office if you would like to try one on.
If you have questions, please refer to Mr. Renneke.

Home Show is almost a week away and we still need some more volunteers! We desperately still need 7 people to work concessions from 7:30-10 pm as well as 4 people to help with clean up from 9-11 pm. We also need some workers to help with Bus greeting and parking, and some more helpers in the Hospitality Room. Please check the sign up to see if there are any other areas you could still help!
Hello CFHS band family:
Quick update for you on the uniforms:
Good morning CFHS Band Family!
A few quick announcements and reminders for you!
CFHS Band Parents,
Today in class we talked about the spring music department performance tour to Nashville and we kicked-off the first of three fundraisers to help students raise money for the tour.
All students were given a yellow packet with information about the dates, itinerary, costs, and other options.
If your student was interested in participating in this first fundraiser (Club's Choice) they will also be bringing home an envelope with a catalogue and more information about the fundraiser.
Just wanted to let you know that you can be expecting those two pieces of information.
CFHS Band families:
We just received some information about tickets for the Youth in Music marching band competition on October 8, 2016 being held at U.S. Bank Stadium (NFL stadium of the Minnesota Vikings).
Please see the e-mail copied below for your information.
Youth In Music Ticketing will open tomorrow at our website.
Ticketing will open at 12 Noon CST on Wednesday September 7.
Pre-sale ticketing will be reserved seats and Family Fun Packs only.
With 32 bands, we anticipate that the 750 tickets will go quickly. This year we have a pre-sales ticketing system where fans will download and print tickets that are scanned at the gate.
More information coming on logistics, bus parking, etc.Thank you for your patience.

CFHS Band Family:
Each week you are going to be completing a quick self-check of your progress towards reaching our ensemble goals.
This quick Google form needs to be completed by Thursday at 11:59pm. You can certainly take care of it now or wait a few days and then evaluate your progress, so long as you have it submitted no later than Thursday night.
This is a tool to help us all get better!
Welcome to the 2016-17 School Year! For those of you who haven’t had students involved in the Chi-Hi Music Department before, each of you are Members of the Chippewa Falls Music Association, Ltd. (CFMA). CFMA is the volunteer booster organization which supports the Music Department. CFMA Member Meetings are held on the 2ndThursday of each month at 7 p.m. The first one for this school year is this Thursday, September 8th at 7 p.m. in the Chi-Hi Choir Room. We will be discussing the Home Show and other, upcoming CFMA events at this meeting and welcome your attendance and input!
For those of you who have signed up, already, to help with the Marching Band Home Show on October 1st, thank you!! Home Show is CFMA’s largest fundraiser.
Heather Hunt, CFMA President
Hello CFHS Band Family:
Because every minute of rehearsal is precious I am going to try and NOT spend class time going over announcements that would be just as easy for you to read over an e-mail. That said, it is my expectation that you actually CHECK and then READ your e-mails.
This blog is intended to serve as a collection of announcements and information for current students and their families.
