Bring a chair, sun screen, hat, instrument, music, etc.
There will be some water and snacks provided, but it might be a good idea to bring some treats.
We are scheduled from 9am to 1pm.
Dress rehearsal at CFHS in the auditorium.
We will walk through the entire concert to help with logistics/transitions.
Treat for all performers
Doors open for seating
Pre-show music begins shortly
We are putting together a group of students to check out the UW-Eau Claire band concert on Thursday.
The initial plan is to meet at Burracho's on Water Street at 6pm for dinner - you get yourself there and pay for your dinner. At 7pm we will walk over to the Haas Fine Arts building for the concert which starts at 7:30pm. Ren will buy your concert ticket for you.
The concert is pretty lengthy but features some AMAZING music and will be probably around 2+ hours long.
The concert features music by composers we've recently played such as Michael Colgrass (Old Churches) and David Maslanka (Mother Earth Fanfare, Rollo Takes A Walk, Symphony No 8 - marching band).

April 19 - DM Candidate Leadership Lab
April 26 - DM Candidate Conducting Lab 2

All labs are on Thursdays during Prime Time.
Students interested in trying out for Drum Major should plan to conduct the band through the parade tune, Patriotic Parade Sequence, for the Memorial Day parade.
Drum Major candidates will also need to complete the Leadership Application, which can be found in an earlier blog post.
This blog is intended to serve as a collection of announcements and information for current students and their families.
